How to reattach your windshield:
Scrape old adhesives off the windshield
and convertible top.
Remove all debris, then clean the glass and fabric
with isopropyl alcohol or similar degreaser.
Apply a continuous bead of sealant-adhesive glue
between the glass and convertible top fabric.
Use suction cup clamps to apply pressure
while the glue cures.
Add grease or water under the suction cups
to prevent air leaks and increase suction power.
Press down on the suction cups until
no air is visible underneath.
After the glue has fully cured, remove the clamps and cut
away excess glue with a razor blade.
